Annual Remembrance Day Concert
5th Nov 2.30pm
Our Lady of Ransom Church, Grange Rd, Eastbourne
Presented by The Eastbourne Silver Band, the concert is a ticketless free concert, is well attended and increasing in popularity every year so early arrival is advised to ensure a seat.

Hastings Storytelling Festival

6th to 12th Nov
Celebrate the oral tradition of storytelling at its best, with original tales told through spoken word, poetry, puppetry, song and movement. Whatever your age, the festival promises new storytelling experiences for all ages.

Hastings Herring Fair

18th & 19th Nov
Stade Open Space
Celebrating the Silver Darlings of the sea,
Hastings Herring Fair will combine food stalls and cookery demonstrations with live music, and local beers, wines and ciders, all inside a marquee on the Stade.

Sara Lee Trust Christmas Fair.

18th Nov, 10am - 1pm
St John the Evangelist Church, Brittany Rd, St Leonards on Sea
Christmas goodies, gifts, fundraising stalls, children's area, homemade refreshments and Santa's grotto.

Hastings Christmas Lights Switch on.

23rd November, Priory Meadow, Hastings.
Arrival of Santa, complete with reindeer, procession at 17.30 along Queens Road to town centre Reindeer pen outside Debenhams along with street entertainment. Firework display 7pm.

Meads Magic
24th Nov, 2.30pm
Meads St, Eastbourne.
activities and fun for all the family. The street is lined with market stalls selling fabulous handcrafted goods. Perfect for Christmas shopping or maybe just presents to self!

Christmas shop at Pashley Manor Gardens
24th Nov to 3rd Dec 10am to 4pm
Pashley Road, Ticehurst.
The shop will be packed with a wide selection of high quality gifts and cards, as well as special Christmas stock for the festive season. A fantastic choice if you are looking for present ideas, or something for yourself or your home.
(No entry charge – gardens and Café not open at this time; just the festive Gift Shop)

St Leonards Frost Fair
25th Nov, 10am to 4pm
Kings Rd, St Leonards.
Part festive market, part fancy dress parade.Drum troupes, food stalls, circus artists and spectacularly dressed characters from literature, mythology and folklore. A lively market featuring an array of distinctive products from artisans and craftspeople

Battle Christmas Lights Switch on
25th November.
1.45pm Parade with band escorts Father Christmas’s sleigh down the High Street to his Grotto at Memorial Hall.
Father Christmas sees children in his Grotto from 2:15 till 4:45 and there are also refreshments, entertainment and popular charity market in the hall and children’s rides on the Abbey Green. 5pm Lights switched on by Father Christmas.

Great Dixter Xmas Fair
25-26th Nov 10am - 4pm
Great Dixter House & Gardens, Northiam, Rye.
Local traders, purveyors of fine goods, artisans and artists will be selling their wares in Great Dixter’s Medieval halls, Great Barn, gardens and outbuildings.

Heathfield Christmas Market
25th Nov 10am-2pm
Kings Church, Station Rd. Heathfield.
A vibrant and fun event filled with local artisans, crafters and independent businesses showcasing their unique and unusual wares.

Tea Dance
27th November 2pm
White Rock Theatre Hastings
Take to the floor for an afternoon of Ballroom and Latin dancing. Your hostess, Top Hat, will be on hand helping to recall memories of a forgotten era. Included in the price is a high tea.
